Khan needs to only throw the jab, and occasional 1-2

Alvarez can easily time Khan's jabs and one-twos. Not to mention Alvarez had success cutting off the ring on Lara, who moves a hell of a lot more intelligently than Khan and knows how to control range.
That's Khan's problem when people say he needs to just keep away from Alvarez. Khan doesn't know how to control distance better than Alvarez does. Mindlessly running around the ring won't work.Comment

Khan doesnt have the stamina for that. And I dont know that the added weight wont make that worst.
Khan doesnt know how to fight on the back foot. Its cringe worthy when he tries to do it.
Im not convinced Khan has more boxing skills then Canelo does.Comment

If what you are saying is accurate then why was he being touched up by these slow-footed plodders with no ability of cutting off the ring like Angulo and Molina? As a matter of fact, those fights were hotly contested as he went tooth and nail with both fighters as they were able to find him quite easily. Since he is so super fast, then they should have never been able to locate or let alone a lay a single glove on him, given his overall supreme defensive prowess.See, none of what your saying makes any sense. Lara is better at getting from one area to another than Khan, he does so in a faster manner and can maintain his balance while doing so. It's not so much because of foot speed, it's footwork.
Lara also transitions back to defense better than Khan, his defense may be limited but he at least does that a lot better than Khan and Lara's shell is no where near as easy to penetrate. This is why Canelo struggled heavily to land head shots against Lara. On the other hand, why ignore all the times that Khan went into a shell and still ate all sorts of head shots? All against Peterson, Garcia, Maidana, Julio Diaz and the list goes on.
I don't know what your even looking at.Comment

See i don't think people get this. Saying this simplistically, but Danny Garcia is a smaller Canelo....and he was able to land his punch around Khan's guard. Its ridiculous. I don't like to count boxers out but he does nothing to challenge Saul.
What i don't get is why anybody would think its more so punch output than everything else? His defense sucks. His chin, never mind having a weak one, but he doesn't have any kind of legit defense where he can protect it. He leaves it in the air too long to get hit, and on top of that why does a so called elite boxer such as himself square up every chance he gets? He can't adapt, can't fight inside, can't really **** with people....and his speed.......whats the point of being fast if your punch out put every time you throw is fast? He has no change up to his punches. Its why for what its worth, people time him in his fights because once he slows down a little bit in the ring due to fatigue, he gets figured out and caught. Its a wash.Comment

That's what I've said. Khan is fast, but he's predictable.See i don't think people get this. I don't know where people get the idea that Khan can do what Floyd did. Khan can't afford to fight in the pocket like Floyd did against Canelo. Khan also doesn't have 1/10th of Floyd's defense or ring IQ. He leaves himself WIDE open when he punches.
If Khan tries to tie up, Canelo will be too strong for him.Comment

As I mentioned, Lara is limited defensively, the difference between Khan and Lara defensively is that Lara controls distance better but more importantly has a way better defensive guard. Look at all the success Peterson, Garcia and Maidana had when trapping Khan against the ropes, they were able to easily penetrate through the guard, it's almost laughable really. Lara on the other hand is mostly susceptible to the body when you have him trapped. If what you are saying is accurate then why was he being touched up by these slow-footed plodders with no ability of cutting off the ring like Angulo and Molina? And no, Lara isn't super fast on his feet but one can easily see that he gets into position faster than Khan does. The bold is false, I'd know because I rooted for those two and I was frustrated, I don't even like Lara's style at all, I find it very displeasing to watch but I'm gonna call a spade a spade.
Angulo fought like a man possessed and he exposed Lara's limitations but Khan has those same limitations as well PLUS more. Molina is underrated, didn't look too good against K9 but he was coming off of a long layoff, he reminds me a lot of Herrera but a dirty version.Comment

People don't seem to see the value in changing speed, it seems to escape people. Oh man, the bold, since forever I've been telling people the guy can't seem to get under a punch, had the Mayweather fight happened I saw Floyd landing the right hook repeatedly but that's all history now.See i don't think people get this. Saying this simplistically, but Danny Garcia is a smaller Canelo....and he was able to land his punch around Khan's guard. Its ridiculous.
