If he did that to Lara, you can be damn sure he'll do it to Kahn.

And, unrelated, this goofy notion that people have about Khan being too fast for Canelo to time. Quit thinking of Kahn as Mayweather. Khan has been timed by plenty of guys. His ring IQ isn't high enough to avoid it. He's a wiry little guy and his nerves often get to him. When He feels Canelo's concussive power, watch him get nervous as start making horrible decisions.
I didn't miss the point, I agree he'll beat Khan, and I think it will be vicious. Khan is not as good as Lara, particularly on defense. But you're saying that Canelo cut off the ring against Lara and "handled" him, which is in my view a poor representation of what happened. The first half of the fight Canelo was awful and he still never really caught Lara with anything super clean even in the 2nd half of the fight when Lara was more in retreat mode barely throwing due to his inability to cut the ring off properly or put punches together. He basically beat Lara through sheer aggression in an awful fight where it was more about what Lara didn't do, rather than what Canelo did, eeking out a questionable decision. The fight didn't show much in terms of Canelo's development, though he deserves credit for taking the fight and finding a way to win, however ugly and questionable.

I'll respectfully disagree and recommend a rewatch. "Sheer aggression" is a contradiction if you believe he "never really caught him with anything". Drastic change in fight IQ and behavior when you compare to the Mayweather fight. Again, just because it wasn't pretty or easy doesn't mean you should overlook what he was doing in there. There's a lot to be read in that fight. Like when 2 grapplers seemingly stall in mma, etc. There's actually a lot going on that people either overlook our don't understand.

I see we both found spoon23 in the audience. I used this avatar for a bit, now I just stick to my chihuahua.

Khan is like a chihuahua, big balls, not self aware. He needs to stick and move, and hug the crap out of Canelo.

Khan fights scared. He doesn't know how to maintain his composure and exploit mistakes that his opponents make. He just goes out there and try to beat his opponent to the punch with those fast arm- punch flurries of his and then he backs out with his chin up.

Kahn needs to only never get hit for 12 rounds. If you believe that can happen then yeah he can win.

If a HB just ran down field every time he got the ball he'd be average. Khan is cashing out, people keep talking about how much they respect the fight but i don't. Its ****** what he's doing.
