I love Kovalev, but there is no way in hell I could pull for him in this fight. A clean cut, God fearing, non woman beating, American Olympic gold medalist is who I will be pulling for.

Very likeable statement for Ward to come out with. Now they just need to make the fight, knowing that both men want it. This is a real super fight.

when did he go after ggg? ggg tried to fight him years ago and he said no. then he offered ward a fight at 164 since ward said he would fight at 160 and he said no. then he wanted ggg to lock in a 50-50 split of the revenue for a fight that will take place after ggg fights canelo. none of those things says to me that he was going after ggg. was ggg going full force for ward? no but ward wasn't going for ggg that's for sure. going after ggg implies being realistic and nothing ward did had a realistic chance of making the fight happen.

also he could be fighting kovalev now but he's not. maybe he will is all we have. i don't call it courageous trying to fight periban for the last 3 years while ducking the best in his division. you sure like to give the benefit of the doubt to ward for 4 years of crap and potential fights that may happen. where's the same benefit of the doubt for guys who try to fight the best int their own divisions? nowhere. you want them to move up or they are cowardly lol hypocrisy is great
