There is a time and place to take things seriously. At the PPV level, it's an event/concert. You want the biggest names that will generate the biggest crowds.Comment

It's funny how split everybody is on this fight. On one had you have "hardcore fans" tearing it to shreds while the media, boxers, trainers and others aren't that insulted by it.
It's time to just stop taking boxing so seriously and enjoy it for what it is: Sports Entertainment.Comment

Nacho and Marquez can regain credibility if they end this petty jealousy of Canelo. It's gone on long enough they been hating on this kid forever now and just upset that he has surpassed Marquez as the biggest star in Mexico. They had the chance to just pass the torch to Canelo but at this point Mexicans don't need them to give their stamp of approval to Canelo they just need them to shut up. Idiot picked Cotto to beat Canelo and was proven wrong.Comment

I don't understand Nacho's point of view here.
He thought Cotto won, which is ludicrous. He didn't embarrass himself but he certainly didn't win.
He thinks Canelo lost credibility... from what exactly? The Cotto fight? Why?
Because Cotto was the smaller man? Because Canelo didn't look good in the fight? What is he referring to?
And he will regain credibility from this by fighting Khan?
He said of Canelo "I like the way he fights, I don't know why it has been so tough for him."
Has it been tough for Canelo? He won a couple of close decisions with Lara and arguably Trout... but Khan has had his chin crushed multiple times.
Who has had it hard here?
Up and down this all sounds nonsensical.Comment

I donīt give a s*it if a title fight has 2K or 2M viewers as long as the fighters are among the best in that division. This is just a circus act with two clowns. Entertaining? Could be. Good for the sport? Absolutely not.Comment
