Hahaha, as I thought the responses prove my point.

GGG is a coward, a ducker, and a disappointment because he wanted to meet a top 3 pound for pound (when active) fighter down the middle in a non-title fight? After getting turned down 2 years earlier?

Am I missing something? People seem really desperate to paint him in the same light as fighters "ducking" him...but in doing so they throw out all sense of reason and objectivity. Why?

Again I'm just curious. The level of irrational anger towards him makes very little sense.

Yeah. The very worst GGG fans continually create false narrative threads and then a lot of them jump in and cosign it when its an outright lie just like Publius did here.

Then you get 1 or 2 that believe every criticism is race based despite the fact any criticism he gets comes from all colors, races and nationalities on NSB.

Its really disgraceful and the mods should put an end to it.

come on only thing people wanna see is him fight stiffer competition. Is that too much for fans to ask? I for one am not a fan of watching mismatches where the result is a given.

There are fighters out there that can test him....the fights have to be made...nothing more or less

Since he couldn't secure a title unification fight, he's obligated to fight his mandatory. On top of that, the #1 ranked guy is Johnson, who was down to fight Golovkin but suffered an injury, so the next man up is Wade.
