What did I tell you all along? Khan just wanted to fight the best perceived fighters in the world. The two best at 147 ducked him so now he's fighting the best or the second best at 154/160 (depending on who you think wins GGG vs Canelo, and who you think won Canelo vs Lara).

There's no guarantee he'll win the fight, Canelo is a very good boxer, but the whole point about Khan is that he'll fight anyone. He tried to fight Brook but then Hearn and Brook came out with all sorts of excuses to avoid the fight recently. So now Khan has moved on to a much more difficult opponent at a higher weight.

So there we have it.

I lost some respect for Canelo and gained, actually regained a lot of respect for Khan. I support him and hope he pulls off the upset, I know it's a long shot.

Canelo avoiding GGG at 160 to defend his MW crown at 155 against a Welterweight is a disgrace.

Canelo's being a wuss while Khan got a big money fight he was chasing. Awful matchmaking. Wouldn't even be surprised if the fight's a boring slap/runfest that lasts all 12 rounds where Canelo wins a hotly disputed MD.
