He has impressed me from what I've seen I think he is for real but his lack of dedication/missing weight is a concern.

Gomez made it look easy.
It was obvious he had talent. At 17 years old he got a silver medal at the World Championships. Other dudes get a lot of hype around the same age for not accomplishing crap, but Frankie was actually proving it.

Having said that, there is something lazy looking in Gomez. He used to be relentless in the amateurs and even in the early stages of his pro career; to be fair though, there is only 3 rounds in amateur boxing. It's even just the way he throws his punches now though. He looked good, but I know he could get better.
Frankie should definitely move down in weight to at least 140. He'll be better off at a lower weight for now. He definitely has the body to fight lower. He just needs to be more dedicated. He's on the right path for now.

Khan's best win is still Maidana, and if that fight is a 15 rounder not only does Khan lose the fight, but he loses his life.


Like i'm on record saying, Khan will win tonight and I've got yayper on it.

Then we can make the rematch we all have been waiting for: Maidana/Khan II at Wembley or MGM Grand.
