K2, GGG know WBC will be forced to strip if Canelo fails to make the fight. They also know Canelo covets the green belt.

They've said if Canelo wants 155, then he can vacate and they can do a nontitle fight. No reason for Canelo to get shot at 3 MW belts at a bullshiiit CW of 155.

If they plan to vacate, I suspect Canelo wants to defend the green belt first so he can claim he was a true MW champ.

Everyone will know the entire thing was a farce.

Oh let's pretend that Canelo and GBP isn't using Floyd's blueprint.

Oh, wait but Angulo (weight drained and inactive), Trout (the same), Mosley (old), Cotto (old and too small), and Lara (who hasn't exactly proven he is elite).

Kirkland, massively weight drained and out for 18 months.

Canelo wants GGG at 155, for three 160 titles. Canelo is actually worse than Floyd, he has basically created his own division.

You had two different guys from two different divisions meeting in the middle. GGG was at least gonna meet Ward half way. Unlike Ward offered Dawson.

Canelo is asking guys in his own division, one where he is lineal, WBC, ring mag champ, to come down.

It's not like Canelo can make 154 anymore. Dude walks in ring at 175-180.

At least when GGG, Manny and Floyd asked for CW, they were the smaller fighter.

Canelo is heavier than the guy he wants to drain.

I know that this will not have occurred to you, what with you being a clueless fanboy and all that..... but how could a non-profit organisation possibly survive a 31mil lawsuit?

One of those fights that's not going to happen ever but people can't seem to let go of it. That HBO protecting their new star is absolutely funny, inaccurate and wishful thinking but funny as fk. Funny how you believe that yet ignore the fact they offered ward a fight already, before this negotiation people harp on about..not sure how the hell that's protecting him but ok.

If you don't think that Ward can make 168, then how the fk could he possibly make 164?

When that offer (duck) was made, EVERYONE came to the same conclusion, go check every website......

It is plainly obvious that..... 164 = we don't want to fight Andre Ward.

And I DO NOT BELIEVE that is not obvious to you.

Hypocrisy is not the only problem on this site, dishonesty is also an issue.

But you can't compare both situations. GGG is canelo mandatory for the 160 world title, it's not a simple fight. If canelo wanted a fight at 155, he should vacate and then make a non title fight, and it's another thing...

But still when you understand that canelo is only trying to weaken GGG you see that canelo is a coWard, because he weights more than ggg fight night.

That is clearly obvious, EVERYONE said the same thing, fighters/trainers.

And turnedup is ABSOLUTELY aware of that.

And what does his accomplishments over the last 3 years have to do with ggg actually accepting the fight? If anything it should have given him more reason to fight Ward considering he would get the same credit while having the best chance of actually winning.

Seriously what part of THEY OFFERED WARD A FIGHT AND HE SAID NO is that hard for some of ya'll to comprehend? I know "his business wasn't right so he said no" well shhhh isn't that what Golovkin is kinda dealing with now? He's got two mando's and a shot at lineal glory. He should put all that on pause now because Ward finally has a contract he's happy with. Let's just drop this boogeyman bullshhh because that's exactly what it is. You said they were afraid of Ward which is ****** as fk, sorry bro but this is boxing that shhh don't fly with me.

So you are left with no choice but to call Golovkin fans hypocrites too. If you are truly fair and objective.

Let's see if you do it.
You want it? You got it cuz...Ward got offered the fight at his FULL weight and said no..he finally gets his paperwork right now and now the world expects everyone else to stop their plans because King Ward is back. Andre is a tremendous talent but my man it's time people wake the hell up....Andre ain't no Floyd, Andre can barely sell out oakland, i'm not one to play this business side of the shhh but since everyone and their mother wants to make out Andre Ward seem like he's king kong or some shhh it's time to really grab your nuts and face the truth. Ward had an offer for full 168, said "fk ya'll" and now feels entitled to have his cake...Now ya'll sit up here and say Golovkin's coach talks out his @ss but since when do trainers negotiate matches? This is the same fool who talks the same smack for all his other fighters even the ones we don't know by name but ya'll run with these things like fact. Show me some paperwork, show me one name from a network that can support that. Hersh at HBO can verify Ward said no...can you name a person who can actually verify that who actually has the power to make that demand? No. The reality here is Andre is at 175, he's clearly been negotiating that contract for 175 since June of last year, he said so himself, so when exactly was Ward honestly going to fight Golovkin? 2019?

And the same people who defended Floyd for the catchweight are criticizing Canelo (you) lmfao. Catchweights should be banned from boxing period. Anyone who does them should be void from getting a win on their record I really hate them.

So not a word about the GGG supporters who defended Abel Sanchez for taking this position, and who are now criticizing Canelo for taking the exact same position?

I thought you were the hypocrisy police, bro. But I guess it only bothers you when fans of certain fighters do it.

What does race have to do with this? Neither Canelo or Golovkin are black.

This is what everyone was saying at the time.....

Ward wants to fight Golovkin and he wants to fight him next. But it won’t happen at 164-pounds. By accepting 168 with Carl Froch and Chavez Jr, but then demanding 164 with Ward – it’s their way of saying ‘we don’t want to fight Andre Ward.

There’s really no other explanation..... they’re either trying to make it look like they want the fight at all, knowing it won’t happen at that number; or they’re saying they’re only willing to fight Ward if he cripples himself.

A whole pile of sites came up with articles suggesting the same thing.
