The Golovkin fans defended it when GGG wanted to make Andre Ward come down a few pounds to 164. Now they are back on this website complaining because Canelo has turned the tables and wants GGG to do the same thing.

If we are going to be throwing around hypocrisy accusations then let's give the complete picture.

Mayweather didn't make Canelo move down!! Canelo offered to go to 152 to lure Mayweather into fighting him!!

Look up the definition of forced and then re-examine what you posted..you made my case for me. "lured" meaning no other way he would've gotten it.

Ward's was originally offered the fight at 168, when he could actually make the weight, which he cannot...it's time people really accept that fact. Love the man's gifts but let's not be absolutely delusional here, if Ward could make 168 that's where he would still be. In giving the whole picture, the 164lb is speculation, it is what it is...I don't delve in rumors so let's stick to facts. Facts: Canelo fights at 155, that's not 154, and is not a new division that's the same division Golovkin is in. Canelo chooses to not make 154 for whatever reasons and has to drop close to 25 plus pounds to make 155. That's a far cry from a fighter who walks around at like 165 like cotto asking you to chop down a few pounds. Fact, Canelo has said all of the wrong things to indicate he wants to fight even if 155 is agreed upon.

I'm fine with GGG saying no to 155. After the WBC lost a 31 million lawsuit not long ago, they won't play games with that written agreement they had both K2 and GBP sign.

K2, GGG know WBC will be forced to strip if Canelo fails to make the fight. They also know Canelo covets the green belt.

They've said if Canelo wants 155, then he can vacate and they can do a nontitle fight. No reason for Canelo to get shot at 3 MW belts at a bullshiiit CW of 155.

If they plan to vacate, I suspect Canelo wants to defend the green belt first so he can claim he was a true MW champ.

Everyone will know the entire thing was a farce.

Oh let's pretend that Canelo and GBP isn't using Floyd's blueprint.

Oh, wait but Angulo (weight drained and inactive), Trout (the same), Mosley (old), Cotto (old and too small), and Lara (who hasn't exactly proven he is elite).

Kirkland, massively weight drained and out for 18 months.

Canelo wants GGG at 155, for three 160 titles. Canelo is actually worse than Floyd, he has basically created his own division.

You had two different guys from two different divisions meeting in the middle. GGG was at least gonna meet Ward half way. Unlike Ward offered Dawson.

Canelo is asking guys in his own division, one where he is lineal, WBC, ring mag champ, to come down.

It's not like Canelo can make 154 anymore. Dude walks in ring at 175-180.

At least when GGG, Manny and Floyd asked for CW, they were the smaller fighter.

Canelo is heavier than the guy he wants to drain.

Ward was fine with 168 and called out ggg on it; they in turn replied that it should be 164. Ward would not have gotten the HBO deal had he not went up to 175, so yeah he would still be there ready for the fight but HBO has to protect their new star.

I'd love to believe Ward can make 168, as long as he's been on the shelf..at his age..and as long as he stayed at 168 I would almost put money on him not being able to make the weight but it is what it is. One of those fights that's not going to happen ever but people can't seem to let go of it. That HBO protecting their new star is absolutely funny, inaccurate and wishful thinking but funny as fk. Funny how you believe that yet ignore the fact they offered ward a fight already, before this negotiation people harp on about..not sure how the hell that's protecting him but ok.

That would be fine if he didn't offer any and every other 168lb fighter a fight at 168. Its time to admit that he ducked that one.

Ward said that he could make the weight and sent emails to team ggg about making the fight at the weight so lets not ignore that. And ggg's team retorted by asking for 164, so Ward making 168 wasn't even the issue.

The only time that a push was made to get the fight done was shortly after ggg got to HBO and Ward was in disput with his promoter. Now that ggg has more of a fan base they offer Ward a deal to fight Kovalev instead.

Get back to me when Triple DDDuck sacks up and goes to 168 for Ward like he was yapping about doing then bitched out when Ward called his bluff.

Dude is 33, will be 34 when he fights again, and still hasn't fought anyone in the caliber of "weight-drained" Angulo, Trout, old Mosley, Cotto, and Lara. And especially Floyd.

Infact DDDuck hasn't fought anyone in the caliber of Kermit Cintron or Alfonso Gomez. That's how bad his resume has been.

                      So GTFO with your nonsense.
