    Try to move on.
It's about one boxer wanting a fight to be at a specific weight in order to gain an advantage. And the other boxer refusing even though in the past he has pulled the exact same shenanigans.

On top of that I was originally responding to a poster who brought up hypocrisy. So it's completely relevant.

Canelo beating GGG would do nothing to convince the haters.

Canelo could KO GGG in the first rounds and the haters will claim that GGG was never really that good, he was all hype, or that he was paid to to take a dive.
I don't see a lot of canelo haters thoug but I can see it happening. I can see the other way around too if ggg beats canelo and people are gonna say he look really bad against mayweather and actually lost to Lara. Haters are gonna hate. Should just watch and enjoy and ignore all the background noise. Gonna stop trying to reason with people after one week on this site. Lol

        FACTS:
CANELO did not have to fight Floyd , Trout , Lara , or Cotto but those were the biggest threats and the big fights the fans wanted to see him take, so CANELO went for Glory and took those fights wether or not he was the A-side or B-side or at a weight he was not comfortable at , to earn his stripes in the Boxing Realm. CHECK THE RESUME

        FACTS:
GGG does not have to fight Ward ,Lara , CANELO, Jacobs , Degeale , he can fight The Dominick Wades of the world for $2 million while being the A-side and have everything catered to him, and get p4p credit. GGG is just a spoiled brat that has been fed with a golden spoon in boxing , he's just a pompous diva. "Anyone from 154-168" except the best guys, what a joke , hype job. CHECK THE RESUME

-When the fight gets made we all have CANELO to thank not GGG

-It's clear to me how this fight goes down. CANELO has improved tremendously, GGG has plateued.

        {CANELO weathers the early storm , then breaks GGG down and knocks him out cold. CANELO will shine against GGG.}

FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR. quote a few days ago: "CANELO is going to be a force in boxing , he is one of the best fighters in boxing right now, I call a spade a spade and that motherf***er Canelo can fight!"

If we are going to be throwing around hypocrisy accusations then let's give the complete picture.
No they didn't. I know I don't and you simply generalized to make this bizarre argument seem valid. However, Ward was not a mandatory, nor did he have interest in GGG until he decided to come back. Why didn't he talk **** about GGG when he was commentating his fights on HBO?

Agreed, Golovkin needs to stand his ground and say no mas!

I posted a link to a thread where they did, actually.

Here it is again if you missed it. Read the comments for yourself.

you have to step in the ring with him to actually beat him. WBC mandatory 160 pound defense doe, so let's make sure the contract says both guys must weigh in under the 160 pound limit.

I don't defend catchweights fool, I think it's actually dangerous for a fighter to do that especially considering the fact these guys are in some cases dropping 30lbs to compete in a division due to the change in weigh in time...bring back same day weigh ins. Problem solved.

I thought you were the hypocrisy police, bro. But I guess it only bothers you when fans of certain fighters do it.

What does race have to do with this? Neither Canelo or Golovkin are black.
I don't give a flying fk about Abel Sanchez, his job is to train. Since when does the trainer at the gym give me financial advice? I don't care about golovkin supporters, I speak for myself and as I said there is a lot of hypocrisy and double standards up on this site. Whether we like each other or not you damn well know i'm right about that regardless if you'll admit it or not. What bothers me is the fan f@ckery around here with some fighters, plain and simple. Catch weights = Dangerous, Doping = Dangerous, saying no to a fight = ducking. Plain and simple there it is in black or white. Don't have to assume, hell don't even have to reply.

That's what it has to do with this.
Not same thing at all, how many times you need it explained? It'd be same if

                      1. Canelo was coming up from 154, not holding the lineal MW belt. Not ranked above GGG at MW
                      2. Asking for 157
                      3. Legit smaller guy

Canelos 155 is record setting feeble and here you are supporting that. Anyway GGG people are open to a CW, but not while Canelo is holding the belt. That's reasonable, right? Someone that demands 155 has no right wearing a MW belt, much less lineal
