Now you know why Duran said Floyd fought at the right time with Boxing in decline. Today many who are Champs would never be Champs in the 80's and 90's. Think about it Floyd and Canelo won the 154 pound title or 152. Do you think these 2 would have ever had a chance with Julian Jackson when he held the 154 pound title ?

Even right now, I think Canelo beats him. It is just that, him being the ony cash cow at golden boy, Oscar doesn't feel like taking the risk yet. People feel like Canelo is ducking him, need to learn business. Yes, we hate it, but at the end of the day it is the better business decision.

Right now the winning bet is on the two ATGs.

Both would dominate him IMO...Toney would bust him up inside and Jones would befuddle him with movement, relexes, counters and power....he isnt just gonna walk through these guys shots like the great Daniel Geale and Martin Murray lol

These fighters y'all keep mentioning have dubious losses to low caliber fighters. Cans are easy to knock out, because they don't come to win, but to collect a paycheck. Sometimes you don't need to hit a can hard for him to go down. He just feel like he has his check already.
Do you really think Rubio came to win? Rubio was paid to make GGG look good. Monroe said after the fight they were pushing him to speak on triple GGG power, which tells me Triple G is being highly marketed. Been watching boxing since the mid 80s.Last edited by megas30; 02-01-2016, 10:34 AM.

neither guy has been stopped and both had great chins and defense. Toney competed at heavyweight and barely got buzzed
I dont think you ever watched Toney or Jones at 160 and 168....GGG cant carry there jockstrap
He hasnt fought opponents or shown any of the skills necessary to beat either guy
GGG is gonna stop toney but Heavyweight sam peter, Roy Jones, and Jirov who all hit hardetr than Lil G couldnt, yea right
