"1980" Roberto Duran vs "2013" Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Floyd never fought anyone remotely close to the fighters that Leanard did. If he fought the caliber of opponents such as Hearns, Hagler, Duran and Benitez there Is no doubt he would have been dropped and stopped. He was hurt against Demarcus Corley for Gods sake. All the guys mentioned above had the potential to send Floyd out if the ring on a stretcher.
Floyd never came close to a stretcher. That's what you wish.Comment

Smh...
All I have to say to you is learn your history of the sport if you wanna chat with us BIG DAWGS. Duran was KO'ed by Hearns, yes. But do you know why??????? Exactly. You don't. I'll tell you. Duran was in a bar and drunk when approached by a promoter to fight Hearns. He said he needed an advance in order to agree to the fight. He demanded that advance right there on the spot, in the bar while drinking! The promoter came back in less than an hour with the $100,000 dollars. Duran said okay, I'll fight him. The promoter knew that Duran wasn't REALLY interested in the fight. He only wanted the money. He was at least 210lbs then. Learn your history, kid. That's the ONLY reason he was KO'ed and didn't beat Hearns.Comment

****** thing to say huh? Maybe you better go back and read your post stating that Duran wasn't even as good as Maidana. I believe that that particular comment was probably one of the ******est posts ever made on this board and I think the majority would most likely agree. To answer your question, No. Pac would not have beat Duran.Comment

Again...
Again. More lessons for you. Manny was a kid when he was forced to turn pro to provide for his Mother. He was mal-nutritioned and drank water for dinner some days. He also used to pack his pockets with rocks to appear to weigh more at weigh-ins. He was also thrown to the lions when he first turned pro. He was fighting GROWN ass men. That's why he was stopped twice early on. We all know what happened against Roidquez in the 4th fight. It's simple, he cheated. You don't KO Manny Pacquiao. Anyway, why didn't you mention that he didn't lose for almost 10 years at the peak of his powers??? Morales is arguably the last fighter to legally defeat him. Roidquez cheated. Bradley didn't beat him. Floyd was juicing and STILL got out landed. Smh. Why didn't you mention this?Comment
