Why a prime Duran vs a past prime Floyd? Lol how about a 2006 Floyd? More competitive.

      Duran...

Duran wins easy and possibly by KO. Matter of fact, I am talking prime for prime here. IDC about a 36yrold Floyd. Duran HURTS Floyd bad in his prime. Duran is the most violent fighter I've ever seen in the ring. Period. His defense was A Level as well. He is arguably the greatest LW in history also. Floyd isn't made of what Duran or SRL or Hearns or Whitaker or Chavez Sr., or many others were made of. They were on a different level in the toughness department. Floyd does have great legs and is a lateral/reflex defender. His punch output is also a weakness. He's too economical so I don't even see him going 12 rounds with Duran. Manny is my favorite fighter but he most likely wouldn't either. He'd do better than Floyd though if he uses his legs and ring IQ.

It would be No Mas II. The only fighter I'd pick to beat Floyd is Hearns.

You want Duran to be able to beat Floyd so bad, it must hurt to know Floyd stays undefeated

Fight would look like the Jesus Chavez fight. At lightweight or junior welterweight, Floyd would **** him up.

This particular matchup I'd probably have to pick Duran. Discussion is tougher and more interesting if you pick a younger Floyd tho.

Duran would beat him badly. Look, Morales (allegedly), Castillo, and Maidana all beat his @ss. The best example is looking at Maidana. He uses his overhand right as much as he possible can much like Duran. The only thing is Maidana is much slower and less coordinated. He has a good sense of timing which aided him in the Floyd fight but beyond that, it wasn't like he could trap him using fast pace footwork like Duran.

The Duran who fought Leonard the first time or the Duran who fought Leonard the second time?

You must be talking about a different fight. Chaves was giving it to Mayweather.
