This^^^ Realistic Floyd has too many advantages over Duran. Now before people mention Leonard. Floyd arguably is more technically sound than Leonard was. Hearns is the only one who would possibly beat Floyd.

doesn't matter. stylewise, duran beats Floyd, nothing in either side's history suggest otherwise

Mayweather too quick for the Hands of Stone. Mayweather wins.

Hands of stones hands weigh as much as stone and that slows them down

Didn't Duran lose a fight because Leonards movement confused him too much? Floyd is a better mover than Leonard and a better counter puncher.

He did, and pretty good. Those uppercuts Floyd was landing on him were darn concussive. His corner were wise to stop it at the end of round 9 (if I remember correctly). Even Chavez said post fight he was taking way too many bombs.

Floyd at the lighter weights was something else.

no, he lost because he was out of shape. and leonard is arguably much better than Floyd

chino maidana is in no way shape or form comparable to duran, no argument there

like I said you were probably talking about the first jesus Chavez. Floyd was good but duran would've been bad news for Floyd but then again I don't believe Floyd would've fought duran at all

Floyd is always in shape while Duran is not always in shape. How can you say Duran would win without question when you know the guy isn't always in great condition?

And Leonard is not better than Floyd. He may be a bigger puncher but not a better overall boxer if he's been dropped and stopped.

well , I assumed we are talking about healthy Floyd and healthy duran as we should.

whether leonard is better than Floyd is subjective, im pretty sure plenty of people would favor each side and it's all good

one thing we can all agree is that duran was 100x better than maidana and Floyd was fighting his fight, he couldn't get around it without stipulations

There's no LW in the world that can move up 2 divisions and beat Floyd. He's too experienced. Now Duran in 1980 vs Floyd 2000 would be a better fight.
