Could anyone on Ward's resume hang with Kovalev?

Good chin no doubt, but he was dropped pretty good vs Taylor and Groves, smaller guys with much less power. And he's so damn hittable, its murder vs guy like Kov

Great question...... Nope can't think of one.

      Olympics ........ Nope...

Not on the resume but a prime RJJ would have been a great fight.

I don't understand how anyone can compare Kovalev, a guy that has always fought at 175lbs to anyone on Ward's resume at 168lbs. Ward's fight against Barrera will be the first comparable performance / match.

Since you brought up RJJ, I wonder how the Tarver that beat RJJ twice would do against Kovalev? I'd give him a decent shot based on his size, chin and southpaw skill set.
