Canelo fans can be delusional

wbc saying they ordered canelo and ggg to fight in the fall is about as big a joke as i have ever seen. i feel like the wbc has been about to order a fight for 2 years only to have ggg take step aside money each time

Actually, that's a tad bit hyperbolic.

GGG took step aside money for Cotto. Cotto was given Geale as a voluntary.

Then Canelo requested on voluntary. Team GGG made the assumption if waiting until May to see if they sign meant they get the fight, then there is nothing to lose.

At least this time they have the written contract with the WBC.
