He signed on to allow Cotto and Canelo to fight each other, with the winner fighting him straight after that.

It's not his fault Canelo is stalling him with requests for another voluntary and catchweight demands.

Try looking at it objectively, you'll be surprised what a difference that makes.

This would be an extremely difficult fight for GGG due to DeGale style. I would give an edge to James at 168..

I wonder if he would get the same support, from the same people here, as Canelo is getting now?
Not OKing GGG putting his career on hold waiting on fights with Canelo and BJS doesn't mean you support Ginger's stance.

There's plenty who are supporting him though.

I think the "support" or lack of is totally dependant on how important belts are to an individual. If you view Canelo as a legitimate middleweight champion, you're probably outraged. If you view him as more of a jr middleweight, as I do based on his resume, its not as big a deal.

He first took a step aside fee, which delayed the fight at least six months. He then agreed to tune-up fights for he and Canelo. Which delayed the fight another six months. So in reality, everything he's agreed to has allowed the fight to be delayed at least 18 months. So in reality, its kinda the same thing as the deal with Ward. Outside of course Ward being a much bigger risk and much lower reward.
