The opportunity for a FAIR offer was on the table, both guys sacrifice and compromise to bring the fight to the fans. Ward said no and walked away, that is what happened.

Who is to blame, the guy who has since moved up to 175 or the guy trying to unify his division, which is two divisions below where the former is now?

1) the guy who lied to the public, especially to his gullible fans

2) the guy who couldn't back up his hype when things got real

3) the guy who used to think that " A-side " rubbish was cool, but who has recently re-evaluated the situation , and NOW wants nothing to do with that " A-side " rubbish

But Canelo can also just vacate the belt, which would hurt his reputation greatly. Canelo is a proud guy who deeply cares about his reputation...But this is nothing to get worked up about...It is a tactic. I don't think Golovkin would have any problem fighting at 158 for the amount of money and fame he will be getting to fight (and in my opinion, knock out) Canelo.

Oh, no I'm still in agreement with the "A-Side" argument; however, this fight isn't under normal conditions. It's a WBC mandatory title defense, which are held at the 160 limit. If it were just Canelo challenging GGG without him being Canelo's mandatory, then sure he should do what Canelo says if he wants that payday.

Ward said he'd go to 160 for Floyd but wouldn't go to 164 for "lil g". But people said Ward stated he was joking so it's ok. The same people hold "lil g" accountable for his trainer's statement as if he could have never said it just to talk schit. Even though it was his trainer speaking on his behalf compared to Ward actually speaking the statement.

Lol, GGG haters are as ridiculous as Floyd haters. Id be willing to bet most of the GGG haters loved Floyd though.

Bottom line is Canelo knows he will get blasted by GGG so he is trying to get an advantage. I dont blame him but he is the Middleweight Champion, he should act like it, 155 or 160 the result will be the same. Ive always liked Canelo but he is acting like a scared little girl, or his team is.
