I think this deserves it's own thread. This is no good for the PBC...

His farewell fight versus berto which should have been a big deal, he tied a lengendary record, had no interest. There were still tickets available and it did half of the maidana fight. It's still better than most but now that he fought pacman nobody really cares about either.

You will only break the bank if Floyd agree to take a massive I mean HUGE paycut to fight on PBC. There is a reason why he didn't do this for his last fight with Berto because he would of had to sacrifice money! PPV pays him more. Plus you need a lot of time to sell all the ad time. These guys on PBC even the biggest names are making about 1mil or so to fight on PBC and PBC is still taking a loss because according to LA Times report which looked up the amount they are reporting to have received from commercial time and it avgs to less then 500k per fight card. When you done paying all the fighters purses on the card you deep in the negative. The numbers just don't work you would have to plan this a long time out more then 3 months which is how long most fights go from the announced date to when they actually fight and then Floyd would have to take a huge paycut just to do a favor for Haymon. If Floyd fights again he will want to get paid big money and that means PPV.

Sorry people but Floyd don't give handouts and he is not coming in to save the day for PBC lol

I always wondered how guys who fought under Haymon made an insane amount of money even though they didn't generate half of what they were being paid.
How Leo would get 700k to fight bum after bum was crazy to me
Looks like it's all coming to an end now though. Looks like salaries will finally start to reflect the reality. My only concern is will a lot of fighters who have already made their money simply decide to sit out if they don't get the money they want for their next big fight? Will boxing be able to someone like Quillin who made 1.5 million fighting Jacobs, to fight someone like GGG for less? even though he was highly ever paid for the Jacobs fight?

Haha. This statement is so true.
              It's quite sad really.

Sure that would be nice the problem is what you want PBC to be and what it actually was are 2 different things. Haymon didn't create this cool new league to put the best guys in his stable against each other and give fans great fights. No he put his best fighters is blatant mismatches that nobody wanted to steal money from investors. That's why it failed and that's why his investors are suing. It was about gimmicks and robbing investors blind while putting out a crappy product that didn't unite boxing instead completely divided hardcore boxing fans and turned off casual fans.

Shouldn't they be suing haymon? Are they suing Waddell because of boxing investment.?

Because Waddell was in charge of their investments not haymon. Haymon screwed them over yes but they allowed it and their job is to spot that and keep their investments away from shady characters like haymon.
