Maybe Ward is a natural LHW who has been cutting a lot of weight but so is Canelo and a good portion of boxers out there, this is still a new Territory for Ward as far as officially moving up in weight and fighting at the LHW weight class. Either way Barrera is a good fight when fighting at a new weight class for the first time (officially), and Wade is mandatory for GGG, neither should get criticized.

Ward is being praised for making a voluntary fight by fighting Barrera who is ranked 23rd in the world at light heavy.

While GGG is being forced by the IBF to fight who is 11th in world. However inbred fans are blaming Golovkin for that fight and not the IBF. Racism still exists in boxing and the double standards are sickening.
You typed all of that to say this:

      Waaayyyyyssssiiiiiissssss!!!!!!!!

Problem is, Ward has been speaking of fighting someone of note since...2012 right? In that time he has 1 tune up a year and then semi-retires again, he deserves more stick than he gets right now.

I won't judge GGGs whole year though, with just that Wade fight because I'm sure he will have a meaningful fight or two this year, as he has every year since 2013, some may say 2012.

        Two very different situations.

Well Barrera is the beginning, Kovalev is next so if Ward fights these two then props is well deserved.

Golovkin hopefully also gets in there with Canelo and maybe BJS or Degale

I don't praise either for these fights but its a marginal step up for Ward compared to the last few guys he had lined up.
Ward could have his choice, nobody is making a big deal about fighting him but you seen what happened when GGG asked Canelo and Saunders for a fight, those two made such a big fuss over it.

              It's not double standards man.

There are just a bunch of people without any education on this forum, with the intellect of a some prehuman species. Give them a hug and let them cry.

Hands down DeGale is the only one out of those three that would have the nuts to face GGG him and Eubank Jr.

What is it that his die hard riders don't get? If you get hype like that fans will want you to fight top guys eventually... Ward has n will again..
GGG hasn't at all....put up or shut up time fanatics

Ward turned pro as a middleweight n filled out @ 168 where he won a title

He only fought in the Olympics @ 179 so Dirrell could fight @ middleweight

Im just happy they both are fighting soon
