Yeah, I know. With Floyd retired, you'd think a site like this would be leading the change in direction of conversation. We should be discussing different fighters and the future of the sport.

Instead, the same group of pathetic losers make the same "hate Floyd" threads on a daily basis. I understand why mods do not delete them because any site is driven by hits and these threads attract a ton of traffic from trolls, people looking to vent with bigotry, Floyd haters, and disgruntled fans of other fighters.

Hopefully, the site begins to draw enough hits from regular diehard fans interested in the whole sport so the mods can start eliminating the posters that make these threads.

I say exactly how I feel at all times, especially when I'm simply making an objective analysis on why a bunch of whiny fanboys often act the way they do.

Fanbases going at it its not a Floyd exclusive. Sure new Boxingscene posters that were not around during the Trinidad era and the like, will think that fans caring bout their fighter being accepted is a new thing, but it's actually been around long before you all clicked on the sign up button in boxingscene.com.

and thats just a standard cop-out from someone who lacks the intellectual depth to form a cohesive argument. If it was solely about "race", then explain why Tyson, Evander, Foreman, etc etc were never despised like Floyd is?

You cant. Because you dont understand it. Bottom line is Floyd is a PHONY, and everyone knows it. His whole persona is manufactured, and underneath it all is an insecure infantile attention whore who empowers himself by buying expensive cars and smacking women around. He's a complete douche. Sure, Tyson did some foul stuff in his day, but he was GENUINE. Same with Foreman. Not an act. Floyd ACTS like a tough guy when smacking his girl around, but then runs to Arum like a little bytch when J. Prince came knocking.

Floyd has mad talent, and made his money. Now I wish he would just go away and spend it.

What is really weird is that people that do not like Floyd create a thread, some posters refute the claims of the TS with facts, then those posters are called fanboys or they are "defending" Floyd. NSB has a lot of posters that get very angry and emotional if anyone posts something about Floyd that is positive or gives him credit for an accomplishment.

I'm surprised you didn't ask why posters behave like this.
Bc there's no reason to ask that question. The answer is those people are idiots. Like I mentioned in this post, I've never had anything but praise for Floyd as a fighter. So I completely agree with you about people who make dumb threads discrediting him.

I brought this up bc I've noticed that if I mention that I'm not a fan of his, people always seem to feel the need to defend why I should be a fan of his.

OK, I'm asking which posters do this? I know I haven't and I am one of the biggest Floyd fans on this site. Maybe it's some of the other big Floyd fans.

I actually like it better that there a lot of people that do not like Floyd. Less is more IMO.

I just hate when someone gives phony reasons. Well its because he beats women--yet in other threads the same guy talks about Tyson or another boxer they like that also has domestic violence or **** convictions.

You are asking about HWT's who fought 20-30 years ago. Much different time. Outside of HWT, the last cross over American fighters before Floyd were Ray Leonard and ODH. Their popularity was rooted in them allowing Arum to present an image to the public that was equally as fake as you say Floyd's is. Same as Manny. I agree with you that it isn't solely race, so long as you act a certain way.

I also think you meant to reword what you said about Tyson. It reads like its ok he is a convicted rapist because he was being genuinely himself, which I don't think you meant.

I dont believe for 1 second that Mike ****d that girl. Mike would have beat that case in 20 minutes had King just gotten him competent counsel instead of using his tax attorney.........

I agree with you on the attorney, but Mike wasn't innocent that evening. Either way, he did far more negative things outside the ring and said far worse things than Floyd ever did.

when I see people use "outside the ring" stuff as reasons they dislike Floyd, and then say they like Mike, it seems not believable.
