100% yes. Danny started boxing when Angel was in prison on drugs charges and was trained by a local Philadelphia trainer called Jimmy Lowry. That moron Angel is capable of developing a top level fighter. That credit should go to the guys who actually worked with Danny while Angel was locked up. He took over Danny's career when he got out of prison and in the process fucked over several people who had supported Danny to that point. All real Philly boxing people too. He is a dirtbag without a shred of decency.

If he were to leave Angel (I'm not saying take Angel away completely) who would you want to see Danny with, someone who can really bring out his strengths and corrects his flaws?
Suggestions?
Danny Garcia and Angel Garcia, tactical abilities aside, understand how to work with each other; Angel understands what it takes to keep Danny's confidence, and Danny believes entirely in what Angel sees from the outside and what Angel tells him.
You move to another trainer, even if you do it in the name of fixing tactics, and you likely throw the rest of things off.
Take Chad Dawson for instance; John Scully was the trainer who fit the type of fighter that Chad Dawson was. Tactics aside, Scully knew and understood what it took to get Dawson up for a fight. Chasing a trainer who "knew better tactics", Chad Dawson saw his career unravel.

Can you imagine the drama if Danny left his dad? Too much tension and turmoil to do that, especially since Danny has nothing but love and respect for his dad. This isn't a case of Mayweather Sr and his son, Danny actually holds his dad in high esteem. A second trainer is also out of the question because Angel is just too overbearing.

I didn't think Angel was an 'angel'... but these above were news for me.
