No question if Chisora is focused and in shape yes he absolutely can that is why I don't think it is a bad fight at all like some people are trying to make it out to be. We haven't seen enough form Martin to assume that he would just walk through Chisora or something

Charles Martin is one of the most bs champions in the history of the HW division if not the most bs & his "reign" gets even more comical with this news.

Fury beats a decade long champion & gets stripped of his IBF belt before he gets back to the UK damn near. Martin somehow is even ranked high enough to even get a vacant title shot, which is a joke before the joke, & then wins a fight that should (imho) have been a NC & now he gets a year to sit on the title.

F#ck the IBF specifically before this bs & f#ck tha abc groups in general for their raping of the term "champion" in boxing & for bringing forth all these f#cking weight divisions.

Whilst the IBF is clearly a joke, I would point out that over 80 of the 170 fighters that make up the top 10 contenders across the 17 divisions in the WBA rankings, do not appear in the top 10 for any of the WBC, IBF, WHO, Ring, Box Rec, or the Transnational Boxing Rankings.

They literally appear to pull names out of a made up hat!

The IBF comes in a close second.

LOL that is not a shocking statement to me. I insult the abc groups at every opportunity, but I do look at their rankings cuz for boxers who've never held a belt, which is most boxers, an abc belt is maybe the most meaningful thing they'll get outside of a 6 or 7 digit payday, if their lucky & all their rankings ALWAYS got some random how the eff did this guy get there ranked guy.

Charles Martin is for sure one of those guys. There is no reason for him to be ranked in the top 30 HW's by a legit ranking group, but for some reason he was the 2nd best ranked non-champion by the WBC which is completely & utterly insane, straight proof that something seedy still goes on with the rankings or now potentially bbboc.co.uk's hat theory is a legit practice cuz nothing else makes sense.
