Of course his potential was before he got hurt.

You can do whatever you like. Who said you couldn't?
How is that not a good thing? The man has 11 straight KO victories since coming back, only reaching the 12th round one time. How is fighting Jacobs a bad thing; especially when he's never fought a fighter with as much speed, power and boxing ability as Jacobs.
I asked you earlier and you never responded so I'll ask you again. Do you not think Jacobs can box or do you think Lara is the only one?
If we're being fair, the Paul Williams that Lara fought was coming off of being brutally KO'd unconscious in two rounds. If you listen to the commentary of Lara vs Williams, Roy Jones Jr was asking for the retirement of Paul Williams because he was obviously a shell of his old self. This is the fighter you rank as Lara's top victory?
Trout, ironically, was also coming off a loss. Why are Lara's top two best wins in your opinion against guys all coming off losses?
You have someone like Quillin who was undefeated and has at least a solid 3-4 wins. Me counting Lara's win over Paul Williams as a solid victory would be like me counting Quillin's win over Winky Wright; come on man. I don't think Lara has a win on his resume that trumps Jacobs over Quillin.
The rest of Jacobs's opponents arent' bad, but not top of the line either (i.e. Fletcher, Mora and Truax) all of whom were on some sort of win streak; whereas Trout and WIlliams were both coming off losses. Whether or not you agree, the mind frame of a fighter and his confidence matters when they're coming off a loss as oppose to being on a winning streak.
