Yeah, because that's what I said isn't it? You seem to have a problem with reading comprehension.

The current top 10 at 175 is something along the lines of 1. Kov, 2. Stevenson, 3-10 a bunch of people with no impressive wins. So yeah, if Barrera manages a win over Ward, he would leapfrog the likes of Fonfara, Beterbiev, Alvarez etc. and be seen as the 3rd best in the division without a doubt.

If Barrera was to dominate Ward, there would be some people who would pick him over Kovalev. This is a fact. Nothing to do with how I regard either of them, or with who would deserve to be ranked higher, just a simple fact. Or what, are you saying nobody at all would pick him to beat Kovalev, even if he won every round vs Ward?

The people who would pick Barrera to beat Kovalev, if he beats Ward, are the same people who are picking Ward to beat Kovalev right now.

        That's what I was saying.

Personally, I still wouldn't pick Barrera over Kovalev, even if he dominated Ward.

That's because Ward hasn't done anything to make me believe he even deserves a top 20 ranking at 175.

For me, Ward is the one who needs to prove himself, not Barrera.

Were that very unlikely event to occur, it would depend on the nature of the victory whether or not Sullivan Barrera would be considered peer to the Krusher, imo.
