Are you people speaking about this Jacobs here?

Pirog does the shift and... end of story...

No way Haymon is feeding Jacobs to Golovkin.

Pirog is 10x's better than Rubio and Alcine. There is no shame in getting beat KO'd by Pirog. But when we said Lemieux got KO'd by Rubio and his ears boxed of by Alcine the GGG fans told us Lemieux was young and had improved so much. Why can't the same be said about Jacobs, who got KO'd by a top 3 MW?

Not to mention it was almost 6 years ago and Jacobs grandmother passed a few days before the fight. But based off these Pirog standards, people should've just wrote Pac off after his first two knockout losses.

But yeah, good luck at getting not getting a hyperbole/trolling reaction from this post.

No no no. That was the old Danny Jacobs. They mean the new and improved version.

There's only a select few of GGG fans that seem reasonable. However the vast majority of his fans just blurt out why the fight can't work without even taking a second to corroborate some of the rumors they've heard with GGG's contract obligations and network politics. Which leads me to believe that I'm not the only one that knows about Jacobs dynamite in both hands.
You are massively over-rating Jacobs. There is no reason at all for GGG fans to be worried about him.

You are also forgetting that Golovkin does not have much of a natural fan base. Most of his fans do not appear to be Russian or Kazakh, and are not supporting him for ethnic/nationalistic reasons.

Most Golovkin fans like him because has a style and approach which is both exciting and beautiful to watch, and because they believe he is the best fighter at his weight in the world.

Fans like that do not fear for the fighter they support.

Going in for the kill. Stuff happens. By all means Golovkin should take advantage if that's the case.

BTW, wasn't SRL dropped by Kevin Howard on a flash knockdown? Pac KO'd by someone from Thailand?

Bull****. Go read the thread I posted last week about the WBA tournament. Fury fans were saying he should drop the bet after the Klitschko fight instead of fighting Luis Ortiz.

GGG fans don't have a problem with Jacobs because Jacobs is known to be chinny. But mention Lara and they'll give a million excuses as to why the fight shouldn't happen. They'll even say Jacobs should protect GGG by fighting Lara. Lara would be by far the best name on GGG's resume and a common opponent with Canelo. GGG fans immediately dismiss the fight.

                    I think there is.

He has speed, can box, provides good foot movement, power in both hands, etc.

All of GGG's opponents haven't offered any real threat in the power department except for Lemieux in which GGG was able to outbox him.

If GGG tries to fight Jacobs like he did Monroe Jr, Jacobs will flatten him. If he tries to outbox Jacobs like GGG did Lemieux, he runs the risk of getting outboxed.

                    It's an interesting dynamic.

Lemieux had clearly retified the issues which led to him losing to Rubio and Alcine.

Jacobs seems to be as vulnerable now as he was when he got KO'd by Pirog.

Jacobs vs Quillin was a "first to land wins" fight. Jacobs just landed first.
