Loeffler has no problem with Haymon/PBC and the new HBO exec is on board making the best fights.

Unless Team Jacobs has already been contacted and we just don't know about it, I see no reason why Korobov is even in the mix and Team Jacobs/GGG haven't been in negotiations to this point?

The Korobov fight came from Dunkin saying he's available. I haven't heard or saw GGG or K2 say anything about that fight. Now that Johnson is a no go this puts K2/Loeffler in a situation to put up or shut up. The could use the IBF mandatory as the reason they're fighting Johnson. Now that that's out of the window they have the freedom to negotiate with anyone. Canelo isn't the only MW in the division. They can do a catchweight with a SMW or SWW. There are options, but this situation will show us if they're serious about testing GGG against a top fighter or if they're trying to keep him facing weak competition until the Canelo fight.

This is the best fight GGG can make before Canelo. Jacobs proved he is dangerous though his chin is still questionable. I don't think Jacobs/Quillin sold out the Barclays but he's popular enough that a fight with GGG would break the GGG/Lemieux gate, plus you'd have to imagine the odds would be closer.

Hope it gets made so I can watch it in person.

You won't be able to. That was never an excuse with Floyd or Manny. Fans just wanted to see the fight. It's strange that now fans will immediately dismiss a fight because of promotional issues instead of demanding the fight.

When I say they immediately dismiss the fight, I mean immediately, dismiss this fight without holding the acting party's involved accountable for even attempting to make it happen.

There's only a select few of GGG fans that seem reasonable. However the vast majority of his fans just blurt out why the fight can't work without even taking a second to corroborate some of the rumors they've heard with GGG's contract obligations and network politics. Which leads me to believe that I'm not the only one that knows about Jacobs dynamite in both hands.

I am a GGG fan.
I want to see him fight Canelo, Jacobs and the top guys.

I truly believe GGG does subtle things in the ring casual fans don't get, a la JCC Sr.

I think you also need to stop the Gayweather antics and go for it.
