Oscar will say anything he can to make sure that this fight does not happen and his number one earner isn't destroyed in the ring.

Oscar seems to be getting worse GGG is the star and would take the average Canelo to pieces.

Somehow true. But the actual figures clearly place Canelo way on top in terms of the purse split. It's obvious that he won't take any kind of fight unless it's a negotiated deal. The only problem for Canelo it's the May fight -- it will be difficult to hype it while GGG should be next.

            LOL ok
90-10 split is ridiculous. Canelo has never drawn as the A side of a card. Floyd vs Canelo, Cotto vs Canelo. Who was that B side? Canelo...

What kind of numbers would Floyd vs GGG or Cotto vs GGG have done? Probably comparable or better than Canelo.

Look at the press for a measure of value. GGG is discussed and mentioned much more frequently than Canelo.

Canelo is a name right now. GGG is an unstoppable force.

Canelo is the guy with close fights against Trout, a gifts vs Lara, and a close fight against Cotto + a one sided loss against Floyd.

GGG, never been in a close fight in his career.

Standard Champion vs Challenger split is 75-25. 90-10 is an insult. GGG would probably take fight for free though.

He has spent a lot of time ingratiating himself to the mexican fan base. If he KO's Canelo, he has a good chance of taking Canelo's place as the mexican fan favorite.

Id also like to see what number Canleo would do on PPV vs Lemming. Im guessing pretty low. Just like everyone would.

GGG vs. a no-name did 150k buys. Canelo vs. a no-name but good fighter has done 300k and 400k buys.

Golovkin should take the fight at 80-20. That's what Sergio was willing to take to fight Floyd and Manny. Granted, Canelo is not a welterweight so the situation is different. But Golovkin has been frozen out of the big time for too long not to take this fight, even if the conditions suck.

The current situation is closer to the Martinez vs Chavez Jr.
