how many people do you think will be on the arena if only those who like to see Floyd bought the ticket?

how much do you think floyd's PPV would be if only those who buy it are real Floyd fans?

What did y'all expect odlh to say?

He was a media darling...he has had ups and downs but they weren't highly publicized only hardcore fans like us new about his personal life

He always says or does the politically correct thing when the public zeros in on him.... Behind close doors different story

Possibly! There are black racist! Most because they faced racism in their life which causes them to hate all white people even though a few situations doesn't represent a whole race. I see a lot of Mexican racist on this site and the world also. Sometimes their Mexican pride makes them racist, or a experience with a black individual.
But what Floyd is talking about is not just flat out racism. It's hidden Racism! Yes it has a lot to do with money. For instance Mexicans run boxing from the fans to the governing bodies. If a Mexican fought like Rigo he would be considered one of the best and because of his race would have a big fan base which the WBC would have never taken their belt. If he were Mexican HBO would have promoted him harder and instead of promoting how boring they thought he was, they would have promoted his skills and footwork and accuracy!
Ward is intelligent, well spoken, and a family man. Why is he hated? If he were white or Hispanic he would also be promoted better. Switch GGG race and Wards race with the same accomplishments. Ward would be praised and GGG wouldn't be force fed to the public and his resume would be ****ted on and would be forced to prove himself! These are examples of hidden racism!
WHY DO I ALWAYS HEAR WARD GET FLACK FOR FIGHTING ON B.E.T BUT IVE NEVER HEARD A HISPANIC FIGHTER GET CRITICIZED FOR FIGHTING ON TELEMUNDO OR ANOTHER HISPANIC CHANNEL????

I agree with Oscar, just look at Larry Bird, one of the greatest to ever play the game, no trills kind of player, at times was not very media friendly, just played very good ball, then you look at Magic Johnson, he had the showmanship, great with the media, more people remember Johnson today for those reasons. Look at John Stockton, never won a ring, so he's just not popular.

          It's about what you do

Floyd has said it over and over again, he doesn't care about his fans, his health came first, and there's fighters who take the extra risk, put their souls on the line for themselfs and their fans, so who do you think is going to loved by the public, the fighter who didn't care about you, or the one who fought for you, it's that simple. Doesn't make sense to some people, but makes perfect sense to others.

Not quite the 2.4 million that he did with Dela Hoya or the 4.6 million that he did with Pacquiao, is it?No coincidence those were the two biggest and best opponents he ever faced (in terms of overall resume) either.

More people came out to see Mayweather lose than anything, and when he doesn't that's when all the excuses and sour g****s arrive....been this way a long time, before this decade even began

Racism is so big in boxing the most grossing fight in the history of boxing was between not only a back make, but the same black male that is claiming racism is such a big part of boxing, and a Filipino male. The second most grossing fight in boxing history is between YET AGAIN, not only a BLACK MALE, but the SAME black male who is making these accusations, and a MEXICAN. BEFORE that the most grossing fight in boxing history was between TWO BLACK MALES. Shall I continue? Or can we all agree Mayweather needs to jump off a cliff? I thinks it's safe to assume we can all agree on the latter. Have a nice day.

And floyd doesnt? Both of them will diss eachother when given the chance too. Floyd likes to do sneak diss, Floyd wont come out and diss oscar straight up but he'll make a statement like "i have nothing against oscar, i wish him nothing but the best on his road to recovery"... Floyd likes to bring up stuff from the past and use it against the person he is enaging with.

Atleast u can see it and admit to it, a lot of floyd fans wont. I've been saying this for a while. Floyd does have loyal fans that pay for his fights and come watch him fight, but this is just a small percentage. Most of the people that pay for his fights, are paying wishing to see him lose. To some people this doesnt make sense, why are u paying for a fight for a guy that u dislike, well, thats the whole point of it. People want to be there and see it live when floyd loses.
