He's right. Not all fans love certain champions. People have constantly hated on Oscar when he was a champion, hate on money may when he was a champion, even currently people hate on Canelo, GGG, etc.... a lot to this day.

All I know is there are very few sports where the athlete can become his own boss. Meaning have the opportunity to call their own shots and create their own businesses or in this case boxing promotions. Look at what Money May and Oscar did. They made more money than any else in the sport and started there own companies. Both are **********. What sport allows an athlete one athlete to make over 650 million (Oscar) and the other to make over a billion (Money May). None it doesn't happen.

Boxing is about self promotion and entertainment. If you thrive you can become extremely wealthy. But again not every fan will love or like you even if you are champion and trying to transcend the sport.

Detractors hate winners, period. Nevermind all the stiff comp ones defeated, when a winner loses..theyre a hypejob. "I knew it all along" is a common phrase used by the general hater.

Oscar hates on floyd every chance he gets. Oscar is just jealous that floyd is richer than he is.
