100 percent agreeThis is how I see it. Until Ward gets in the ring vs a live opponent, to hell with him. I don't care that he has some pseudo agreement with Kovalev. Until i see them facing each other in the ring, I am going to be a skeptic.
He has dragged out this bull**** for so long now. All he has proved is that he is annoying and unreliable. Now that is a fact.
There is something incredible wrong in the Ward team. Is it his promoters? Well he changed them and he still seems more comfortable negotiating other than fighting. It is either his Manager, Him or both of them.Comment

I agree dude had a huge spark and has a chance to get it back..but damn man wtf is he doing?is his adviser Winky Wright?Comment

Exactlty this is why Perriban turning down the fight is the smartest thing he can do, not only does he have to put himself at a disadvantage jumping up at weight but if he was too beat him, will be a so what scenario. People would be saying Ward was clearly decline from the inactivity (ward brought on himself) and all that blah blah blah talk.Comment

Yesss, it means I'm still in the running! I just subscribed to Teen Beat, Jet, and Popular mechanics to give myself a better chance at winning. Here's hoping for the best

That's not a fact, that's just your opinion, and it has no basis in reality.
Beating Ward would not make Barrera "the Man".
He would still be exactly what he is right now - mandatory challenger to Sergey Kovalev. If he moved on from Ward to beat kovalev, that might do the trick.Comment

BS anyone on the p4p list and well respected is a sweepstakes..money vs opportunity...there is no such thing as that...money is opportunity and opportunity is moneyYou're a fucking idiot for attributing it to race
Jesus christ, bringing this race bating crap to a new level.
Also the fact you think that this is a sweepstake is hilarious. There's only 3 active fighters who's opponents can actually call their fights sweepstakes right now, but eff it..... racism because whateverComment

Perfect analogy. He is reminding me of Winky Wright. Winky could have scored multi million dollar fights near the end of his real career, but kept holding out thinking he deserved more. Then he lets years go by and fights a couple prospects for very little.
Nothing destroys a career worse than an out of control ego. Ward has an over inflated self worth. Now there is no harm in that, as long as you can actually generate that money your ego requires, but Ward cannot. He does not have the fanbase and the fanbase he did have, is eroding along with his youth.Comment
