Little does Tiliheels know that GGG had to prove his worth to HBO for multiple fights before he even got a decent payday. Rigo on the other hand was getting paid more and getting constant boos and low ratings except for the Donaire fight. The guy thinks it is HBO or Showtime who make the stars and that the fighters have nothing to do with it. Arum tried with Rigo to up his game, Rigo did not listen. HBO tried, Rigo did not listen. In the end all he became was an expense. So they dumped him.

Lots of time then goes past and someone finally picked Rigo up (rocnation) and what does Rigo do? He stinks out the joint in response.

The networks and your promoter can only do but so much. You as the fighter have to actually go out there and create buzz and make yourself marketable. Rig has had plenty of opportunities and time after time failed to cash in on those opportunities.

um floyd was boo'd..but u see his numbers..u understand that doniare did his highest numbers wtih rigo..when uput on top fight u get top numbers..hbo knows that...instead they let go of a style that has done 2 million on their network for a style that just did 97k...

i only see rigo ask for big fights..hbo should have made them..he hasnt had any big fight that u can say was bad..and he put on a show with amagasa..hbo missed out on that fight

put him in there with ppl who deserve to be in there and watch him flourish or fail..they decided not too..

And on the subject of " shown us anything "..... when has Golovkin ever beaten a world-class opponent?

At least we know Ward can, Golovkin just makes excuses not to fight.

Pfp status isn't something that carries with you until you lose despite being inactive and fighting C-level opposition for the past 5yrs.
