Why would he be scared of a guy who isn't going to go for the KO even if he has you wobbled because he is afraid of getting hit? People need to face the fact that Mayweather retired because he didn't want to fight Margarito, Williams or Cotto before Margarito and Pac busted him up and made him look like the toxic avenger. Then he comes back and faces a 35 yr old lightweight and people make it seem like what he did was so special. The fact that Marquez even went 12 rounds is pathetic because Mayweather was so much bigger than Marquez and even then he wouldn't go for the KO. Williams would have jabbed him from across the ring and it's not like Mayweather was going to get into a firefight with him and Margarito could have fought him with his hands down Mayweather wasn't going to hurt him. He barely beat an over the hill drunk cokehead, imagine De La Hoya 6 years younger and with no substance abuse problem.... he was 1 round away from a draw for christs sake. Mayweather is great at selling himself to people who don't know boxing but people who follow boxing all seen through the BS.
I never said he was scared of Mayweather....but I do believe his team and Bob Arum wanted to cash out on his fame and hype before fighting him, which from a business stand point was understandable and Mayweather was gonna be his best ever opponent.

Stay on topic all that other stuff your talking makes 0 sense

you never answered the question....How would the public would have reacted if Mayweather didnt fight Pacquaio because he was scared of needles and because of drug testing cut off dates and his trainer later admitting so....you know they wouldnt have swept that under the rug

          • Floyd likes to talk about blacks not being treated fairly but to be honest black athletes or boxers in general has pretty much a freedom of speech without getting the backlash they would get if they were of a different race. Take broner for example, making comments like anybody "can" get it. MexiCan, puerto riCAn, afriCAN, etc. Now imagine a white boxer saying that after his fight....

freedom of speech is a right...the can man thing was funny to me....He basically said he'd fight anyone, they all CAN get it..... and has shown it through his actions.

A white boxer wouldnt have been prevented from saying it again or cut off...look at Rousey's unsportman-like behavior....not touching gloves, how she acts at press conferences.....she didnt get reprimanded for that...well she did with that head kick lol

The can man thing was funny to u because it came from a black person. If a white person would have said the same thing, he would be lable as being a racist and u know it. There's double standard for all races. There's stuff that blacks can say or do and get away with it when whites cant and vice versa.

Not touching gloves is not something that only Ronda does. plus i thought u guys hated that ****? IE: Manny vs Mosley.......

Now imagine an HBO white boxer posting a chimp head over a black professional boxer in 2015! Imagine that! And then his promoter cower all quietly on the background. Imagine that! "Imagine" wait a minute..

                    • I hope Floyd and other minority boxers continue to bring up the topic of racism. It makes them feel real uncomfortable and uneasy inside. They hate the fact that their bigoted views and ways are being put out for all the see. They don't like the spotlight when it comes to their racism. I salute Floyd for doing what he does. It's not his fault that you guys feel ashamed and uncomfortable when the topic of race comes up. Maybe if you didn't hold bigoted views you wouldn't be so uncomfortable on the subject matter.
