I have NEVER seen a black guy root for a Mexican fighter. I have never seen a black poster with a Mexican fighter on their sig or avatar. I have never seen a black poster root for the Mexican whenever there's a Mexican vs black guy fighting.

I understand what Mayweather is saying but I don't necessarily agree. There is definitely a double standard for some black athletes, not just boxers. Most boxing fans are "tribal." There's nothing wrong with that. For some reason here on Boxing Scene if you're black or perceived to be black and support a black fighter you're labeled a racist. Go figure. With that being said, the media and the fans seem to love McGregor and Rousey for being just as arrogant as Mayweather. Maybe they think they're pretending to be arrogant for entertainment purposes and Floyd is the real deal. He has the right to complain about whatever he wants now that he's retired. We don't have to pay him any attention but it's obvious he's still getting a lot of attention.

The most popular and most paid ahletes are 95% blacks so FOH with that. Mcgregor and Ronda doesnt trash talk the same way Floyd does. Mcgregor and Ronda will specifically diss their opponent and their opponent only. Floyd on the other hand brings up everything and anything, **** that has nothing to do with the subject at hand, and thats the real difference. There is no double standard here when it comes to trash talking. How do u expect to be taken seriously when u make comments like "the guy's head grew and went from a 7 to a size 8 in a fitted hat" regarding Manny being on the juice. "if im a scared coward, why do u wanna watch me". **** like this is not worth airing it but instead laughs and talks about it behind closed doors, u will never catch trash talker like Mcgregor says anything like that.

Not sure if true cause i dont really pay attention to accolades or P4P spots but very well put

i'll give you examples of what I mean....

1)If many Pacquaio defeated Mayweather this year would there be a question of who would be fighter of the year??


2)GGG has defeated decent competition the past few years, nobody great but has been a finalist in fighter of the year, simply based off knocking opponents out....he hasnt beat any one truly worth a nod, while other fighters are beating better opponents and dont get a mention

3) ESPY's made Ronda Rousey fighter of the year after beating two nobodies, while Mayweather had won the biggest fight in combat sport history, and had a win over Maidana in that year as well.

Also Serena Williams been breaking records for years and has been a world class tennis player since I was in middle school. Im 30 now and they had the nerve to call Ronda Rousey the GREATEST MOST DOMINANT female athlete in the world??? What??? Serena is a friggin amazon, does things on the court the world has never seen and has been doing it across 3 different decades....Ronda has what? 12 pro fights in comparison to hundreds of Matches Serena has been in

4) Fighters like GGG gets no flack for calling out little guys but I COLLECTED RING MAGAZines in the early 2000s and they used to hound Hopkins about moving up.
