Race has nothing to do with why people hate floyd. Its his character, he brought that upon himself. When floyd was still pretty boy floyd, he never receive the kind of hate he's getting now, wanna know why?

Like it or not, racism does exist. I'm sure that's an issue to some people. And I said its a part of it. I believe the vast majority of hate Floyd receives is because of what he's done. Also, it could be offsetting to some people to see a black man talk the way he does and throw his money in the face of the people. It is what it is.

its true...hell we live in this world everyday and see it everyday....only people acting like the double standard doesn't exist is the ones who benefit from it.


Im from Columbus Georgia...Muscogee County..my city is named after a white guy who discovered nothing....blacks were here before he came, so were the native americans...yet his MFer has a holiday and my city has events in his honor...what about the my ancestors land that they took, can the Muscogee chieftains of the past get a holiday or festival, hell even a mural

Columbus is a military city and Im only 30 so my friends look like a Crayola box.

I've been places and been in situations where my white friend acted an ass, and didn't get locked up and got a slap on the wrist, while I've seen people of color in the same situation get beat up, or jailed


Of course race comes up when we have debates and some I always tell them is

"You cant tell me how my shoe fits, if you never walked in my shoes or been where I have in them, see what I'm coming from?"

There are more comments about the dudes personal life, or racial slurs than comments on the friggin highlights

Strike 1: he is black

Strike 2: He speaks his mind in a matter of fact type of way

strike 3: He talks trash but he backs it up

strike 4: He makes more money in history than any other fighter because he went against the grain, and kick his promoter, one of the best of all time to the curb....fighters are making more money and most of the big name promoters are not people of color. You don't think the powers that be aren't a little upset that fighters can now demand bigger purses and take home higher percentages of the money

He is a made man, and he could fight on any network and make big money...He changed the whole infrastructure of the sport

People were trashing Hopkins around 01-05 for calling these guys out...he has a point...I had ring magazines in college that did this

The reason why the media doesnt take a black guy talking **** serious is because half of the time that black guy always bring race into this. Slavery is a thing of the past, but somehow someway the black guy talking **** will make it about it and the media aint about to get into that mess.
