Would probably go the distance though. I'd say Garcia's chin is close to #1 P4P.

Garcia, but so what? A resume alone doesn't make a fighter.

The only fighter respected less than Danny boy is Amir Con.

He is ordinary, uninteresting, arrogant, average, and has really not proven anything despite having a better resume right now. He beat Lucas who wins that fight 9/10 times, and people around here act like that's some groundbreaking feat that should mean something for him. It really doesn't mean anything other than it was a good win. Good, not great.

larryx, honestly I have never heard you actually give a reason for not liking Golovkin. It would be interesting to hear, because we are both flowmos.

I just wonder if you don't like him, because it sure takes balls to make a thread making Danny look good, in any way.

I love these false equivalency threads. They really do speak to the simple mindedness that is rampant amongst boxing fanboys.

GGG is a far superior boxer than Garcia. Garcia is a hooker. Plain and simple.

But is GGG ready for those GARSH hooks, that is the question.

Its obvious what is going on here.

Larry and realpugilist are having a contest to see who can start the most GGG troll threads.

Loser buys the winner a signed GGG glove off ebay.........

we have seen golovkin get hit by some of the hardest punchers out there, including lemieux and stevens. garcia's garsh won't do a thing to ggg.

García and GGG are different. Garcia attempts bottom jabs to the body, the spear jab, that I like. Also Garcia is a body shot hitter wherever the opponent is in the ring and doesn't expect the opponent to be near the ropes like GGG. GGG is always strategic when to land, and has to rely on the ropes.

With Danny if you play the inside game and you get caught with a hook, like toe to toe, you better have a diamond chin. GGG doesn't like the inside game because he doesn't train for that leverage. At best maybe an uppercut. Monroe Jr. exposed GGG on the inside game. If that were Chavez Jr. doing that to GGG, Chavez Jr. would wear with him out and seriously expose him. Took close to 9 rounds for a seasoned Fonfara LHW to knock out Chavez Jr. People can play dumb on that bout, but Chavez Jr. was lighting up Fonfara. The problem was Fonfara is more experienced at that weight and can handle shots below LHW. And Chavez Jr. didn't do enough to win the rounds but was still effectively trading back.
