Sounded like maybe he got offered a lowball number ("but in reality if it all made sense we are ready to fight Crawford now") or something else was going on there besides ducking.

And I mean all 3 of these guys seem like their history's show they will fight whoever so idk about ducking from these 3 cats. I think fans got little access to contracts/offers to know whats a legit duck vs a bad deal is so they just prefer to make the more fun claim of a guy ducking cuz a deal that doesn't represent a guys worth or perhaps even be a bad deal in some cases is boring.
Crawford/Postol is not and will never be a big money fight. These are the fights they need to take and win to become big money fighters. How sad is it when, the top 2 140 pounders, in the same division, under the same promotional banner has to marinate? This looks like it could be headed towards Gamboa/Juanma, Loma/Walters territory.

This is the right answer. I think he'll get one of those guys later in the year.

How exactly do you know anybody is ducking him? Boxing is a business an good boxers expect to get paid what they are worth. If a boxer is offered too low of an amount of money to fight Crawford they have every right to turn the fight down. IT'S NOT DUCKING. It is refusing an unfair low offer. Unless you know the details of the offers made to these boxers to fight Crawford you are just guessing that they are ducking him. If he does fight either Postol or Ruslin I will bet against him. I doubt either of them is ducking Crawford considering the bad asses they have already fought.

Arum knows what he's doing..... mainly calling up a guy knowing they wont have enough time to train, according to them of course, but we'll see. Hopefully he does get some names under his belt this year.

i know it's not arum's style, but i'd like crawford-benavidez if herrera and postol are unavailable. granados and troyanovsky would be fine too. point being there should still be a couple more names to check on before resorting to a lundy type opponent
Benavidez won't happen on 60 days notice. According to Granados they did reach out to him but I haven't heard anything since. It seems like they went all in trying to get a top fighter in the ring with Crawford for this fight but they all backed down.

Who said it was? I think there is an argument to make that it could be a bigger fight in the future, but I wasn't making that argument. I just feel like based on Postol's peoples comments it sounded like they got a lowball offer. You don't need to think a fight is a super fight to think you got lowballed.

I didn't get that at all. They said they wanted two fights in between but if they got a super duper offer that they can't refuse they will fight him now.

I thought Postol was signed to the same promoter as Provodnikov, rather than being with Arum? Either way I have hope that fight can happen this year it seems an obvious one to make.

For the 3rd fight in a row it's a case of just hoping he gets the big fight in 6 months time as right now nobody wants to step in with him. It's a shame HBO aren't putting a bit more of a push behind him, he's at that stage where a big win could make him a star but too many fights against the type of guys he faced in 2015 and his career loses momentum regardless of whether or not he's the best in his division.
