There has been more out there, and more will come out this year, game dev news usually goes quiet after initial announcements til beta versions are on the cusp of release etc.

I see no concrete source but I hope one is development. I googled it and none of the main gaming sites has any news on it whatsoever.

Sorry dude but you're reaching here. I wish it was happening but there is no new game in development, there was no official EA announcement and all rumours going quiet for more than a year is never a good sign.

EA are sucking the UFC balls at this point. Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if Dana White only agreed to them making UFC if they agreed not to make a boxing game for the next 5-10 years, that guy is a bitter little man.

Agree it's doubtful we'll see another Fight Night. Honestly, I wouldn't really want it.

Graphics-wise Fight Night Round 4 was fantastic, but the story mode was lacking.

I wish they would take Don King's Prizefighter storyline play and mesh it with Fight Night Round 4's graphics and just improve the graphic detail and add more recent fighters. You'd have a killer for sure.

Prizefighter's story was great though - you got injuries, you had dirty fighters, you had rivals as you went up the ranks...simply fantastic.
