Surprised people think Joe would've won.

Obviously it's a popularity thing...Joe was a good fighter, but I don't see how he troubles Andre.

Bernard was able to land some hard, flush counters which made Joe buckle a couple of times and I imagine - Andre (younger, stronger, bigger) - would've landed similar counters with more effect.

Andre would also be more active than Bernard was...and Bernard arguably won that fight. I have tried multiple times to rewatch the fight, but its horribly boring. Can never get past round 3 or 4. And it was Bernard making it boring tbh

Still stunning anyone thinks Joe would've won based on like 5-6 wins and a resume full of cab drivers. Much like this guy Golovkin...a handful of decent wins (razor thin decision against a C+ level Danny Jacobs) and a draw against JMW Ca$helo...and I thought Canelo won - straight up.

Neither Joe nor Gennady do it for me

      Calzaghe out works Ward.

Take a UD by 4 rounds

Ward's best chance is to land some headbutt and low blow to cut and slow Calzaghe down.

Not a fan of either fighter but I think Calzaghe wins. The guy is very underrated. Moves well, punches a lot from 1st to 12th round. Inside outside. Ward, having average power, plays into the bigger Calzaghe.

Calzaghe had big KO power, but changed up his game because he had brittle hand late in his career.

Calzaghe is probably the only fighter that had a better recovery from a KD than Marquez.

Calzaghe is better at everything and had a much stronger chin than Ward. Ward gets put to sleep.

I don't believe Ward beats the Jones, Hopkins, Lacy and Pudwill that Calzaghe fought.

Yeah, Joe always recovered very well and didn't get ****** in there after getting up. Very durable guy.

I wish his hands had been tougher. He would have been ever better.

Some weak stoppages, but in early fights you get a lot of stoppages like that

The fact he put Eubank on his ass show he could ****.
