If you're talking about when Cal was at his best and when Ward was at his best, I'd have to go with Cal to be the favorite. I think his punch output and volume would've been too much.

I would've been rooting for Ward though.

Let's be honest for a second here, Calzaghe was not an elite fighter. Sloppy, feather-fisted and constantly off balance. Ward would have schooled him with one hand behind his back.

Calzaghe's output would be too much. He overwhelmed many opponents and Ward would have his moments in a very close split decision for Joe.

Calzaghe would have destroyed him easily, made him look lost.

LMAO, yeah OK. 46-0 (32 kos), Ward has lost years from his career playing games trying to stay undefeated and still is only 28-0 (15 kos). Joe had more KO's than Ward has total fights and he actually moved up in weight and still dominated.

                  Calzaghe would win a decision...

His workrate and angles would drive Ward crazy, just like it did for hopkins..

People can bash Calzaghe all they want, but the fact is, the guy was a winner, who could adapt, always had a very high workrate, and always rose to the occassion

He'd probably win a close decision, but he wouldn't destroy Ward or beat him easy.
