      I go with Joe on this one. His work rate and action-packed style would overwhelm Ward in the end, although I think it would be close. I don't see Ward smothering him.

                Ward is a better boxer, but stylistically, what would be the best way to solve Ward's defense? Thousands of fast non-stop punches, that's the answer. I pick Calzaghe based on stylistical advantage.

                  I don't see either hurting the other a lot. These guys aren't known for bombs.

                  I think Joe could hurt him, but not knock him out and I feel the same about Ward hurting Joe.

                    nah, just think calzaghe would outwork him, andre ward would fight ugly and try to spoil but calzaghe lands enough shots to win clearly.

                      Calzaghe was great at adapting, but Ward in the first Kovalev fight was genius level adapting too.
