There are some offers that are considered non starters in negotiations that they don't warrant a counter offer. For example if you bid so low on a house some times they will just laugh at you and refuse to give a counter offer. Because you are not a serious buyer and they don't waste their time. That's exactly what Jacobs looks like here. Let's be honest he did nothing to warrant 1.5mil his last fight or 1mil the fight before that. PBC is fine with losing money on their fights but HBO would never pay that. He'd be lucky to get 1.5mil against GGG who sold out the MSG his last fight while Jacobs filled less then half the Barclay's and GGG is European while Jacobs is from Brooklyn. Yet his team is asking for double and triple his last salary. LMAO

No point counter offering. When a fighter throws out numbers like that it's clear he has no serious intentions of making the fight.

Why is everyone going out and saying GGG gotta make this offer to this guy and that guy? GGG is the guy who possesses what Jacobs wants right? Same with what Lara wants. He is the man they should be wanting to fight and they should be sending an offer to him.

Don't you think it should be on them to send him an offer? Why should he chase them? They should be wanting his belts and fame. Right now he is chasing other belts.

BJS is the more important fight so obviously it takes precedent.

But they offer BJS a fight? A man who's told GGG to fuc off and said he needs at least 18 months to be ready?

Most of these guys are trolls, they're trying to create an imaginary list of fighters GGG is ducking.

Also, HBO is under new management so that's also a possibility.

Either way, there's been zero dialogue from Team Golovkin on this possible fight. I don't think they want it, honestly.
GGG is not leaving HBO. And damn sure not for jacobs. Come back to reality and you acting like Jacobs is canelo or mayweather...he's not. He holds one of the most insignificant belts at 160. Canelo and GGG hold all the belts that matter. And outside this website nobody knows or cares about Jacobs. Look at his last fight for evidence of this. He either fights GGG on his network at a reasonable price or he doesnt. And trust GGG won't lose sleep over it. He's got his eye on bigger fish like Canelo. While Jacobs can continue fighting bums in empty arenas on PBC.

Why would ANYONE chase Gennady Golovkin?

He's high risk and zero reward. He did 97k PPV buys in his last fight.

I'm just asking the fans who think GGG is always being ducked when that's not the case. There are fights available for GGG, but his team at least have to try to negotiate.

Jacobs has been down twice in 31 fights and is labeled as having a questionable chin. This fight should be easy pickings for Team GGG with GGG's power. But no, people are acting like Jacobs doesn't even exist and are talking about BJS, Hieland and Taureno Johnson.

If GGG has been the recognized champion for the last 3 years, him not fighting T. Johnson shouldn't change that.
When one of those he didn't get up from and the other was at the cinderblock hands of Sergio Mora, red flags tend to go up.

BJS brings more euro fans to the table then jacobs has total, he's not signed to Haymon so the fight has actual chance of happening, their side after the lee fight said they would be willing to fight GGG and their team is not asking for ****** money that nobody would ever pay for a guy who's last fight flopped so bad in his own hometown no less. Those are just some of the reasons they reaching out to BJS before they would Jacobs.
