What's Team Golovkin's Offer to Jacobs?

If, I repeat, IF, GGG offered BJS 6 mil for their fight, then I think 3 mil for Jacobs is reasonable.
But If I had to play devil's advocate, since everyone thinks that's unrealistic, let's say 2.5 for Jacobs.
Regarding who makes the offer, Jacobs doesn't have any problems finding fights himself (i.e. Eubanks/Lee/BJS, etc) and is open to fighting GGG. If Haymon is ok with it, I think Team GGG should be the ones making the offer since supposedly he has a hard time finding fights and BJS obviously doesn't want to fight. There are weight issues with Canelo.
So to answer your question, I think Team Golovkin should initiate the negotiations because BJS doesn't want to fight, he and Canelo have weight issues and the Johnson fight is a waste of time.Comment

Golovkin has so many pokers in the fire right now if his promoters asked Jacobs and was accepted they still have Johnson, BJS, Canelo to deal with. It's going to be impossible for him to schedule all of these fights. So let Jacobs fight who ever he wants for a little bit jeez.Comment

HBO OWNS GGG and Kovalev, they can't do anything unless Peter Nelson approves. HBO is Anti Haymon not K2 or Main Events and Kathy Duva. I'm sure if they could GGG and K2 as well as Kovalev and Mainevents would more than gladly allow a Purse Bid with Haymon and drive the price up and get their fighters paid a lot of money.
Proof of this is Charles Martin fight Glazkov. Glazkov is with Kathy Duva and Mainevents so why is it that she allowed that Purse Bid to happen but not Kovalev vs Stevenson? Because HBO is likely telling her and Kovalev "NO!"
Of course that is just me guessing but what other reason can it be. GGG is signed to HBO exclusively so they would rather him fight bums on their network for cheap than for him to go make a lot of money fighting Haymon fightersLast edited by sicko; 01-02-2016, 04:44 PM.Comment

Here are the facts:
- Daniel Jacobs himself is open to fighting GGG for the right $$$.
- Jacobs trainer has said 3-5 mil is reasonable for a fight
From a lot of posters on this site, I've heard Jacobs offer is unreasonable, so my question is why hasn't anyone from Golovkin's team come forward also saying these numbers are unreasonable? In fact, I really haven't heard much from Golovkin's team on a potential fight with Jacobs.
I understand that Jacobs is a Showtime fighter and GGG is an HBO fighter, but GGG is promoted by K2 who have a good relationship with Haymon so it's negotiable. Anything in business is negotiable.
If I'm being honest, it seems Team GGG aren't really that eager to fight Jacobs. Someone with such a questionable chin and given GGG's power, they should be all over this fight, no?
Unbelievable.Comment
