yeah either that's saunders's own wishful thinking/demand, or it's in fact a $6m purse in total, i.e. to be split, and billy got his wires crossed. which would still be a considerable flexing of financial muscle btw (double the amount that jacobs and quillin shared, for example). i doubt K2 would recoup the full amount from HBO alone

this is just floyd/ward fans being salty. for years they had to sit there and hear people say they were ducking so now they are trying to create false equivalences. ggg is avoiding an unpopular guy in a smaller division who fights on pbc is the same as floyd and ward avoiding top guys in their own division.
