They have been patient waiting for Golden Boy/WBC and from the sounds of it September 2016 will be that fight.

If they can get Saunders to fight them prior that would be great for GGG. Add another title to his collection. Not to mention that will increase K2's popularity among up and coming fighters and free agent boxers to come work with them/represent them.

They have come along way in a short time.

However I doubt this fight gets made. Their is no way that Saunders promotional team will allow this to take place because he just got the title. Also I think they would probably want home court advantage in the UK.

I have only seen Saunders fight Lee. Which he put on a solid performance. However does he have a better shot than what Lemeiux did when he fought GGG a few months ago?

So, there is tonnes of money lying around to make Saunders - a complete unknown from the UK - a great offer..... but there is no money whatsoever for Ward or Lara?
