didn't they offer ward a 50-50 split? or are you going to bring up the we will fight anyone from 154-168 thing again while ignoring that when he said that he tried to figth ward and ward said no and recently they said they were staying at 160? i'm gonna say yes you will ignore that and if you do choose to play the out of context game ward said he would fight at 160 why can't he fight at 164! either way you lose

If its between Canelo and Ward then yeah, who's Andre Ward? Esp in light of his recent "activity". I very much doubt the 6m figure, but amazingly in the past year Saunders has outdone Wards past 3.

every fighter takes risks but floyd took calculated risks more than anyone else. for example oscar took flat out risks. mayweather waited, waited, waited some more then fought the guy he wanted or just waited till he faded away. oscar just jumped right in and paid the price with losses. thats why oscar gets more respect.

also floyd gets props simply for growing? the guy was 18 and grew into a 147 pounder. that's what happens when you grow. just like ggg when he was 18 was fighting at 140. did ggg take risks by moving up 3 divisions(in amateurs)? no, it would be a risk if these guys continued to drain themselves and fight in divisions where their bodies were being drained and harmed. similar to pac when he was fighting at 112 or walters right now at 126.

u kno ward is classes above canelo..simple as that..dont play the money game..just be realistic..canelo would go nowhere near ward thats why he comes int he ring at 185 and fights at 155..he dont want it with guys like ward and froch

he fought sharmba, judah, and baldomir instead of #1 contender margarito. sharmaba wasn't ranked, judah was coming off a loss to a journeyman and floyd fought him anyway, even re-doing the contract that was null in void because he lost so floyd could get more money. then he fought baldomir who was a journeyman and everyone knew it. that is the definitino of a cherry pick run if i've ever seen it. out of all three of those fights he couldn't fit in the #1 guy? a popular mexican? we know how floyd loves to fight mexicans because he knows they bring in the fans but he couldn't find the right time to fight margarito?

ggg actually tried to do the same exact thing floyd did. move up a weight division for the big money but not necessarily the "best" fight. did you forget he tried to fight froch? oscar was ranked #6 and had 1 win in 3 years when floyd fought him. froch was at least ranked #1. yes he was #1 because of ward's inactivity but he still brought far more to the table money wise than ward and was much better than the oscar floyd fought. wasn't cory spinks ranked #1 but floyd fought oscar instead. i don't remember anyone saying floyd you are ducking spinks!!! just be consistent. ggg's at least trying to fight everyone at 160 unlike floyd did at 147 refusing to fight margarito, retiring instead of fighting cotto and waiting 6 years to fight pac. that's not respectable.

baldo was the lineal champ of the division after beating zab...and floyd fought him to become the lineal king...margo was soon to be, but he lost his belt to paul willliams while they were bulding the fight..and williams lost his belt next..floyd had bigger fish to fry in oscar and hatton soon after...the man took risk he cant help that guys lose on their own time..im not askin ggg to win for other fighters..im just point out the obvious..floyd poops on his resume and ggg willn ever come close to floyd's
