His last fight was was supposedly his last fight under TR and when asked about his current status with TR here was their response:

Walters is co-promoted with Warriors Boxing, a promotional outfit that does a lot of business with PBC. If Walters contract is up with TR, popular opinion is Walters will sign with Haymon and fight for PBC. By Bob coming out with these Uchiyama rumors he has everyone thinking he's going to make a fight with both fighters who aren't even signed to him and neither fighter's management has confirmed.

So when Walters signs with Haymon everyone will say he's ducking Uchiyama. Once again, Arum started this rumor 2 days before Walters fight with Sosa and nobody but Arum has confirmed they'll fight. Arum also told us Bradley vs. Ali was a go for Nov. 21st in Dubai. Bradley wound up fighting Rios. Arum also told us Rios vs. Brook was a go. Rios ended up fighting Bradley. Arum also told us Pacquiao could pick whomever he wanted for his last fight in April. Pacquiao picked Broner, Arum shut that fight down and Pacquiao will be fighting Bradley again. He's also saying it's not Pac's last fight.

Arum does have guaranteed dates with HBO. Uchiyama is 36 years old and could be looking for one fight in America before he ends his career. Bob could convince him to come fight on HBO in America against a fighter that's actually signed to TR, Jason Sosa. And then we'll start hearing Walters ducked Uchiyama by running to Haymon. This is how opinions are formed and everyone forgets what was actually going on. Just look at the thread about Uchiyama right now. Everyone is acting as if the fight is a sure thing but no one but Bob is talking about it. But if that scenario happens it's the fault of PBC. They don't get ahead of this stuff and Bob is the master of media manipulation. If they are on the verge of signing Walters they need to also be in touch with Uchiyama's management to set a fight up.

If anyone has info showing Walters is still with TR or that Uchiyama's management has confirmed they've agreed to a fight in America with Bob please post it.
I think you're spot on, green k sent.

This could all be for naught if his contract is in fact not done with TR. Bob usually has options in his contracts so we will see.

But he had 4 losses. Based on your post, that should've disqualified him as a viable opponent. Too late to backtrack now.

Oh, for the record, Gatti had more than 4 losses at the time of the fight.

The irony here is that my supposed 'bias' was a reasoned argument, yours is a pretty random personal attack for no apparent reason.

Everyones biased brother, in some form. Just call it out when it seems to overtake reasoning, not when you've seen someones avatar and jumped to conclusions. Thats kindergarten-level stuff man, come on..

It worked on me because I think Walters is a fearless beast. I think he is one of the best fighters in the world and 130 is his proper weight. I thought he won all 10 rounds of his last fight which was called a draw. I think he will be hard to beat at 130 pounds if his fights are scored correctly.

if he is such a beast aint no need for scoring for fighting little guys. scoring involved fighting guys who are maybe his size. that last guy he fought walked thru and laughed at his punches and was a push pillow puncher selected for that reason. when walters fights a guy his size that can hit it will be different outcome
