Wlad threw the Fury fight and made $50 million

Wlad cleaned up by throwing the Fury fight on side bets in Macau and Hong Kong and in Monte Carlo. The Ukraine also made many millions in the thrown Wlad loss for arms needed to fight a war. Wlad came thru for his Ukraine comrades in fine manner. Think about it how easy boxing is to manipulate the outcome of any fight if the fighter decides to just lose and bet the heavy odds against him losing. Boxing is as crooked as a Don King or a slimy Al Haymon lets it be. Deal with it. The rich always prey on the dimwits who actually still believe sports are legit. Tooth fairy anyone or the Easter Bunny? gullible fools.

@ people saying Naazim is butthurt, he just said what the majority of people on here were saying about the fight. No butthurt at all, while Fury did win it wasn't an impressive performance at all.

someone actually said Fury was a young hungry lion. Lions don't fight like that

Nazeem I always admired. he called it as it was afterwards, Fury did what he was supposed to do as the bigger man.

In the build up Nazeem questioned if Fury was the best fighter on the planet, like he was claiming at the time, what was he doing facing guys 200lb and 6'3", the man had a point. Fury was claiming no one would face him when guys like an undefeated Price, Thompson and a whole host of others had been calling him out, and this was around the time he had just dropped out of WBC fights offs and right after he was offered the Klitschko 2012 November date.

I expect a really shirt title reign, as Nazeem says if Wlad just raises his game even slightly, you have something significant at hand as opposed to the last match, a fight at hand, and ultimately a very likely Klitschko KO win.

Wlad gave a slight effort in the closing minutes and had Fury hurt other than that he did nothing to win.
What you saw was an ageing fighter who fought opponents who never fought back, Fury didn't do much if any but he did work lateral movement and stuck to it throughout the bout.
An aging one dimensional guy like Wlad will struggle when made to move, if you stand in front of him your doing him a favor.
Similar to Floyd avoiding Khan, nothing devastating about Khan except Floyd would need to use his legs and if he can't get to him early it could be a long night on older legs!
I would expect Wlad to make the rematch a 5 round max effort and go for the KO! He will need to have multiple jabs working hard to track down Fury and set up right hands to the chest and use upper cuts as Fury illegally bends his head lower than his waist. He will because he isn't to keen on getting hit, unless he's hitting himself !!
Wlad stops him or he is simply to old now!

I think this is a good break down, if Wlad does not let his hands go he may as well retire. The signs have been there he is slowing, against Fury it was evident he has slipped a yard or two in the last 2-3 years. The static targets he has fought never highlighted this, tis a shame Wlad is at the tail end of his career this would have been a fascinating match up four years ago or in 2012 when Fury rebuffed the offer waiting for Klitschko to get old.

It was a fascinating fight to watch. Fury demonstrated something we haven't seen in a long time - the lost art of pure defensive boxing, which has nothing to do with clinching, holding and spoiling.

Movement, feints, angles, hit without being hit and without grabbing and holding. It was a real culture shock to many people, including Wlad.

No surprise there then. Not enough holding, spoiling and head -butting to keep an Andre Ward fan happy?

Tough **** mate, but never mind. The P4P king will be back sometime next year ... or maybe the year after ...

This is what I still believe. He wasn't throwing because he's an old fighter who can no longer pull the trigger with accuracy.

Fury is seriously getting overrated by that performance and when he steps up against a young highly rated heavyweight it will show. I was not impressed.

Fury's feints and counter punching made him scared.

Naazim is right. This wasn't exactly one of the legendary heavyweight battles of all time, was it?

But people shouldn't take credit away from Tyson Fury. His lateral movement, his head movement and his feints would have given Klitschko trouble at any age. Wlad looked like he had no idea of how to overcome those obstacles.

he right tho. it was a horrible fight and fury didnt look impressive at all. it was just that wlad looked even worse. he looked old and was totally dreadful. he did nothing in that fight. wlad cant snap a jab out anymore or pull the trigger when an opening appears. it was sad to watch. he should have retired after that poor jennings performance. a rematch will be no better for wlad. fury will beat him even worst and may stop wlad if he decides to be more aggressive this time
