LOL the most historically significant belt but its a piece of medal? And why the hell are you talking about who is more popular on this website. I didn't know boxingscene was a popularity contest.Right - But you do? I'd imagine most posters on this forum think I add more to this forum than you do.
In fact, I doubt anyone knows who the *** you are
Wilder isn't anything but a belt holder. Fury is THE champ, call it what you want. Wilder is a contender with a piece of metal around his waist, even if it's the most historically significant belt.Comment

Well deserved. Good to see Floyd get some praise. I wonder who the other sites will pick as the fighter of the year.Comment

Fury is a runaway leader in the unofficial fan's vote for this award, and rightly so. Coming out of nowhere to beat the longest reigning and most dominant champion in the sport, when hardly any of the so called experts gave him a chance, and at HW too, was by far the best achievement of the year."A stronger performance vs Klitschko could have pushed him over the edge" - about Tyson Fury.
Ok - 13/16 Bscene staff picked Fury to get badly beaten. He wins 25 out of 36 rounds on the judges scorecards against the guy who was unbeaten and untouched in 11 years and P4P #2 on Bscene's list.
Mayweather beat a guy ranked lower on their own P4P list, who was a couple of fights away from a bad KO and had taken another loss and dubious decisions in the last years - And to add to that his performance was not as strong and the fight was a worse stinker than the Fury fight
Anyway...
But we all know the score. Money is what matters in boxing nowadays, not achievements in the ring. Floyd won the fight with the biggest purse in boxing history, so whether he was expected to win it or not, he was always going to get this award.Comment
