Roach seems to train offence very well but can't teach defence well like Floyd Sr does. That's what I've picked up, although he is very calm as a cornerman and that I like.

Roach interned under top 5 trainer of all time for 10 years eddy futch. He gave cotto perfect game plan for Canelo. He outboxed him for stretches and had better D. Problem was fight time Canelo was a light heavy and cotto couldn't move or hurt him. Freddy has many champs hater and worst trainer of mayweathers who did he ever train? His own nephew doesn't use him as a water boy

Seems to me the Mayweathers are jealous of Freddie Roach. Compare the number of world champions Roach has trained to the ones they have. Its not even close. I do agree however with giving too much credit for Cotto beating Martinez. The fight would have had the same outcome regardless of Freddie being in the corner or not. Without Floyd, how relevant would they be? The only other fighters trained under the Mayweathers that had success that I can remember at the top of my head were Laila Ali and DLH. They need to stop the hate.
